The Home tab is your personal snapshot of everything happening in your finances β€” whether that’s just you, or you and your partner together.

Two spaces, one app

In Lumio, you have two spaces to organise your money:

πŸ™‹ Private Space – Track your personal spending, bills, and accounts. Share only what you want into your Shared Space.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Shared Space – Track all shared expenses, bills, and accounts in one place with your partner.

This setup gives you the best of both worlds: full visibility as a couple, without losing financial independence.

What you’ll see on your Home tab

While the layout may evolve, your Home screen currently includes:

  • Account Balances – A snapshot of your current account balances, savings, Credit cards, investments, and more.

  • Recent Transactions – A feed of your latest payments. Tip: To see a true picture of your shared finances, make sure you share all joint bills and expenses into your Shared Space.

  • Upcoming Bills – A snapshot of your upcoming bills for the week ahead

Getting started with your Home tab

To make your Home screen as accurate and helpful as possible, here are a few key setup steps:

  1. Invite your partner to Lumio.

  2. Connect your accounts:

    • Main personal bank account

    • Any active credit cards

    • Any joint accounts (mark as β€œJoint” and link to your Shared Space)

  3. Set your spending cycle to match your payday β€” so you can easily see income vs. outgoings.

  4. Share expenses from your Private to Shared Space for a single source of truth.

  5. Set up your recurring costs (bills, subscriptions, or direct debits).

Once set up, your Home screen becomes the go-to hub for checking balances, tracking bills, and keeping your finances clear β€” both as individuals and as a couple.
